The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), is a standardized observational assessment used to gather information about communication, social interaction, play, and restricted or repetitive behaviors associated with autism.
Empowering Minds ABA offers in-house ADOS-2 administration and scoring by an ADOS-2-trained professional. The assessment provides standardized observational information that may be shared with your child's physician, psychologist, or other qualified diagnostic provider as part of a comprehensive evaluation.
1. Initial Consultation
We learn more about your child, your concerns, and what you're hoping to understand through the assessment.
2. ADOS-2 Administration
Our ADOS-2-trained professional administers the appropriate ADOS-2 module based on your child's developmental and communication profile.
3. Scoring & Results
The ADOS-2 is scored according to standardized procedures, and assessment results are provided to the family.
4. Coordinate With Your Child's Provider
Results can be shared with your child's physician or qualified diagnostic provider to support their broader clinical evaluation and decision-making.
